The Innersound Magrotone is a completely new, very interesting sounding instrument. On the inner walls of the Magrotone are five vertically arranged steel strings.
In the upper area is a disc in which 40 magnets are embedded. By slowly turning this disc, the strings are pulled in and vibrate. The resulting sound ranges from harmonic to mystical.
You can create different sound combinations when you rotate the disk at different speeds. Also, you can tune the strings to different keys.
The strings are mounted in a way that makes it possible to vary the distance to the magnetic disk. This instrument, the Magrotone, was invented by Martin Gronmeyer and built and developed by Innersound.
